Important Notes for the Internal HDD and USB-HDD’s
• This Unit is equipped with an Internal HDD.
• A USB-HDD can be used by Connecting it to this Unit.
• Connect the USB-HDD directly to this Unit.
Connection via a USB hub is Not Supported.
• HDD’s are susceptible to damage from conditions, such
as Impact Shock, Vibration, and Temperature changes. To
avoid losing Stored Data, be careful of the following:

Do Not Vibrate or Send Shock Waves to the HDD.

Do Not use this Unit on an Unstable or Moving
Surface.
–
Place this Unit on a Level Surface. For the USB-HDD,
place it as the Manufacturer Advises.

Do Not Block the Cooling Vents on the Bottom or
Rear Panel on this Unit.
–
Do Not use this Unit in Places where the Temperature
is Extremely High or Fluctuates greatly.
–
Do Not Unplug the AC Power cord while this Unit is
On.
–
Do Not unplug the AC power cord or Turn Off the
Circuit Breaker while this Unit is Recording or Playing
back. When Unplugging the AC Power cord, press
[ (Power-ON) ]
first, wait until this Unit has finished
its Shutdown Procedure, confirm that it is completely
Shut Down, then Unplug the AC Power cord.

We are Not Responsible for Data Loss due to Impact
Shock, Vibration, False Operations, Malfunction or
unauthorized Repair of this Unit.
• HDD’s have numerous Mechanical parts inside and
are Highly Precise and Fragile, similar to PC’s; there
is a possibility that a partial breakdown could occur,
resulting in Data Reading / Writing becoming Impossible.
Therefore, the HDD should be considered a Temporary
Storage Device until Viewing the Recorded Titles.
If a Recording is attempted on a partially-broken area on
the HDD, block-noise in the picture or distorted sound may
occur. If the HDD is continuously used in this condition, the
symptoms may become severe, and in the end, the entire
HDD may become unusable. If such symptoms appear, please
contact the Service as soon as possible for maintenance or
repair.
