Media Management
Deleting All Recording Data on the
HDD / USB-HDD
Recording Data Deleted due to Initialization cannot be undone.
Make sure it is the correct Media to Initialize.
1.
Press
[ (home) ]
.
• Home Menu will appear.
2.
Select “Media Manager” using
[ / / / ]
, then press
[ OK ]
.
3.
Select “HDD Menu” or “USB-HDD Menu”
using
[ / ]
, then press
[ OK ]
.
4.
Select “Delete All Titles” or “Delete All
Unprotected Titles” using
[ / ]
, then
press
[ OK ]
.
• Select “Delete All Unprotected Titles” to Delete Only
Unprotected Titles.
• Select “Delete All Titles” to Delete All Titles including
Protected Titles.
• Confirmation Message will appear.
• Titles in a Protected USB-HDD cannot be Deleted.

• This Unit will Switch to the TV Viewing mode.
Renaming USB-HDD
You can Rename a Registered USB-HDD. Please connect a
desired USB-HDD in Advance.

Select “USB-HDD Menu” using
[ / ]

then press
[ OK ]
.
3.
Select “Edit USB-HDD Name” using
[ / ]
, then press
[ OK ]
.
• The On screen Keyboard will appear.
4.
To enter a USB-HDD name, follow the
Steps of ‘Guide to the On Screen Keyboard’
on page 45.
5.
Select “OK” using
[ / / / ]
, then
press
[ OK ]
.
• Confirmation Message will appear.
6.
Select “Yes” using
[ / ]
, then press
[ OK ]
.
Note(s)
• A maximum of 20 characters of a Registered USB-HDD
Name can be Displayed in the Title List.
• A Protected USB-HDD cannot be Renamed.
Protecting a USB-HDD
You can Protect a USB-HDD to prevent Accidental Editing.
Please connect a desired USB-HDD in Advance.
