Resolution
The head gate sensor is
not working properly.
Verify the head gate sensor is connected properly to the
scale head. See
Verify the head gate sensor is working.
The light in the sensor housing should come on when the
gate (or another metallic object) comes near the sensor.
Check to make sure the sensor state changes as the gate
opens and closes.
If the sensor is not working, disable the sensor until you
can replace it. For more information, go to
Configuration
> Profile
on the AutoSort.
The VIEWER reads
Closing tail gate
or
Opening tail gate
The hose connections do
not match the power off
configuration.
Make sure the power off settings match the hose
connections. See
Connect equipment to the solenoid
page 10 and go to
Configuration > Power off
on the
AutoSort.
The tail gate sensor is not

Troubleshooting incorrect weights
If you think the scale is showing incorrect weights, follow the steps below to determine and correct
the problem.
1.
Make sure the cage is not hitting against anything (for example, the floor, dung, part of the
frame). The only contact points must be the load cell and the stabilizer bar at the bottom of the
cage.
2.
Check to see if the load cell is crooked.
a.
Remove any weight from the scale.
b.
Press down on the scale and then release it.
c.
Note the weight the scale head displays after settling.
d.
Pull up on the scale and then release it.
e.
Note the weight the scale head displays after settling.
If the two weight values are not the same, the load cell might be crooked.
