Connect to a normally open alarm system
If you have an alarm siren or system that is normally an open loop and
closes on an alarm
, connect
the siren as shown below.
Connect the incoming power
The required power supply is the
Phason Regulated Power Supply
(RPS). One RPS can provide
power for one AutoSort Connect scale head. For more information, read the RPS installation guide
or contact your dealer.
Set the voltage switch on the Regulated Power Supply to the correct incoming
voltage, 115 or 230 VAC.
Connect the AutoSort Connect to the
DC output
of the power supply, not the 24
VAC output or the AutoSort Connect will not function
correctly
.
Use proper power cable (20 AWG or larger). For more information about cable
length and gauge, read the
RPS installation guide
