Operating instructions
In order to push the microtome blade holder into the knife
holder from the left, the clamping screws must first be
slightly unscrewed. After doing this, the microtome blade
holder can be inserted into the knife holder. Tighten the
clamping screws. More information on the microtome
blades and microtome blade holders is available directly
from pfm medical ag.
WARNING
Caution! The microtome blade must be exact-
ly positioned on the lay edge of the microtome
blade holder otherwise vibrations will occur
when cutting.

The adapter orientable enables easy alignment of the object
to the sectioning level over the object orientation.
WARNING
Caution! It is imperative that the knife slide is
locked when working in the object orientation
area.

The section waste tray is only attached to the pfm Slide
4004 M and can be removed at any time in order to dispose
of the paraffin section residue.
