Adjustment:
●
Leave the adjustment gauge on the needle plate.
●
Remove the top cover and the housing insert.
●
Slightly loosen the fastening screw on control cam 32 (fig. 18).
●
Set the stitch length to "0.5".
●
Turn the handwheel a full rotation forwards, then keep on turning it until point 31 is at 0.3 (fig. 17).
●
Set the stitch length to "00".
●
Keep on turning control cam 32 until the stepping motor switches.
●
Tighten the fastening screw on control cam 32 whilst ensuring that the cams of the control cam are in
the middle of the circuit board guides (fig. 19).
Cross-check:
●
Set the stitch length to "0.5".
●
Turn the handwheel a full rotation forwards, then keep on turning it until the feed dog (needle bar) is at
its highest position.
●
Turn the handwheel very slowly forwards until the pointer is at 0.3 (fig. 17).
In this position the feed dog must make a visible and audible movement (switching).
