Engaging solenoid
Requirement
With the needle bar at 1.8 past BDC (hole 4), there should be a distance of
0.2
to
0.3 mm
between engaging lever

and latch

when the engaging solenoid is actuated.
●
Position the needle bar at 1.8 past BDC.
●
Actuate engaging lever
1
by hand until latch
2
engages.
●
Press the magneto inductor into solenoid housing

as far as it will go and move solenoid
housing
