Setting up
All instructions and regulations in this manual must be obserbed.
Special attention must be given to all safetyl regulations!
All setting-up work must only be done by personnel with the necessary
training. For all setting-up work the machine must be isolated from the power
supply by turning off the main switch or removing the machine plug from the
electric power socket!

Inserting the needle

Switch on the machine.
●
Select the
SEWING
mode.
●
Press the
threading aid key.
The luminous diode in the key lights up, the work-holder bar and presser foot are
lowered and sewing start is inhibited.
●
Loosen screw

and insert needle

as shown in
Fig. 9-01.

Tighten screw

●
Press the
threading aid key.
The luminous diode goes out, work-holder bar and presser foot are raised and the
machine is ready for operation again.
