Setting the distance of the sensor from the needle

Adjusting the transmitted light sensors
●
Call up the menu for adjusting the transmitted
light sensors.
●
Place one material ply under the sensor and
start the adjustment with the „L-“ function by
pressing „+“ on the corresp/- key.
●
Move the material ply under the sensor and
store the adjustment with the „L-“ function by
pressing „-“ on the corresp/- key.
●
Place two material plies under the sensor and
start the adjustment with the „L=“ function by
pressing „+“ on the corresp/- key.
●
Move the material plies under the sensor and
store the adjustment with the „L=“ function by
pressing „-“ on the corresp/- key.
Calculating the deviation
●
Enter the following seam program and sew the
program (seam depth = 3 mm).
●
Measure the actual seam depth,
e.g. 3.4 mm
●
Select the value for parameter
844
accordingly
(can be altered in 0.2 mm steps), see
Section 1.1.
