Will it work in my garden?
Yes. The PetSafe

In-Ground Fence
™
System works in gardens up to 400 ares. Additional
wire and flag kits may need to be purchased. These are sold separately.
Will it hurt my pet?
No. The Static Stimulation is delivered when your pet crosses the established boundary.
It is designed to get your pet’s attention, but not punish him. This method has been proven
safe and will not harm your pet.
Can my children get hurt?
No. The Static Stimulation is produced by the Contact Points on the Receiver Collar your
pet wears, not the Boundary Wire.
I have a small pet and a
large pet; will this work
for me?
Yes. Since the PetSafe
®
In-Ground Fence
™
System provides Static Stimulation, it is safe
and effective for pets over 3.6 kg. The system includes one Receiver Collar; additional
Receiver Collars are sold separately.
Can I use the system with an
existing fence?
Yes. The system can be used with an existing fence if you have a problem with your pet
digging under or jumping over a traditional fence.
How old does my pet
have to be before starting
training on the PetSafe
®
In-Ground Fence
™
System?
Because all pets are different, training on this system can be started once your pet can
learn basic obedience commands like “sit” and “stay”. The system should only be used
with pets who are over 6 months of age. If your pet is injured or its mobility is otherwise
impaired, contact your veterinarian or professional trainer before use.
