Service life / lifecycle
If the product is used in accordance with the safety instructions, then the expected product service life is
five years.
However, the effective service life may vary depending on the frequency and intensity of use and the number of
cleaning and disinfection cycles.
Perform regular function checks on the product and be sure to observe the safety information (see item 2).

Safety information
WARNING indicates a potential danger which could lead to personal injury or material damage.
It is the responsibility of the organisation / the user to determine, on the basis of the circumstances
(weight / health condition of the patient) and the capabilities of the user, whether several users may
be required for the transfer and/or whether additional safety measures are required.
The Lifting Seat may only be used with the safety straps closed.
Never leave the patient unattended during the transfer process.
Observe the load handling regulations when performing patient lifting procedures.
Before using the Lifting Seat, ensure that the patient is not suffering from any injuries or weakness
which would preclude use of the device.
Pull the straps so tight that the straps lie firmly against the patient but don't cut in, and be sure to
release the straps after every transfer.
Defective products may no longer be used.
Ensure that the transfers are performed by the users in a back-friendly manner.
Weight limits must be observed (200 kg)
Transfer products are subject to a natural ageing process. Inspect the equipment regularly to ensure
proper functionality
The use of non-standard cleaning agents or bleaching agents, alcohols, fabric softeners or other
chemical laundry additives may lead to permanent deterioration of the sliding mat properties.
