Care and Maintenance
The R200i has been designed to provide many years of trouble free
enjoyment. It’s important to keep the exterior of the unit clean and to
periodically ensure that the air-cooling grills remain clear from obstruction.
Note: Please place the unit in standby and remove the cord set from the
rear of the amplifier before attempting to clean your R200i in the
manner described below.
Cover
The cover is made from a high quality acrylic material and care must be
taken to prevent scratching this surface. To clean the cover, simply wipe
with a very soft dry cloth.
Note: Never use liquids on this surface.
Never use abrasives.
Front Panel
and Remote
The front panel and remote feature high quality electroplate finishes.
There are two finish colours and each must be cleaned differently.
Satin Chrome Finish Front Panel and Remote Controller
To remove finger marks and dirt on satin chrome finishes, lightly rub the
surface with a soft cloth containing a very small quantity of isopropyl
alcohol (methylated spirits) on it.
Note: Never use abrasives.
Black Chrome Finish Front Panel and Remote Controller
To remove finger marks and dirt on black chrome finishes, lightly rub the
surface with a very soft cloth containing a small quantity of silicone cream
furniture polish (Neopol) on it.
Note: Never use abrasives.
