If you use cracked or damaged grinding discs for
grinding, the grinding disc can break and cause
serious bodily injuries.
x
If you remove the guard, serious bodily injuries could
be caused during grinding operation.
x
If you press the spindle lock-off button during
operation, the tool can make sudden movements and
cause bodily injuries.
If power supply does not correspond to motor
voltage, the motor can be damaged and burns
can be caused due to high temperatures
.
If you perform the work despite the risk of hidden
installations (water, electricity, gas pipes), which
could be damaged, you risk material damage,
electrical shock or an explosion, which can
seriously injure your health and life as well as the
health and lives of others.
INTENTIONAL USE OF THE TOOL
Preparing the tool for operation
The tool is intended for dry cutting and grinding of stone,
metals and concrete. With corresponding accessories
you can also use it for fine grinding and polishing.
Never mount saw blades on the tool.
Unplug the tool before you perform any work
on the tool.
You must always mount the guard when
working with cutting or grinding discs.

Fit the auxiliary handle (on the left, on the right or in
the center). Auxiliary handle must be mounted for
every work with the tool.

The tool is equipped with a protective guard
, which
may be adjusted to work without using any additional
accessories through approx. 360°. For turning the
guard you need to:

Release the crank
in the direction of the arrow,
into position B,
-
Turn the guard
into desired position,
-
Return the crank
into original position A.

The closed side of the guard must always face the
user.

If after a long operation time the guard is not well
tightened in a certain position anymore, the guard can
turn. You must set the crank
into a new position to
prevent this:
-
Place the tool on a flat surface,
-
Release the crank
,
-
Push the crank downwards in the direction of arrow

so that it is removed from the nut
,
-
Turn the crank for approx. 60° into the direction of
arrow
D
.
-
Release the crank
so that the nut
is locked
in a new position.
-
Do not overtighten the crank
as the screw could
break!

For grinding with sanding paper, a wire brush or a
grinding cup you need to remove the guard
.
Therefore, you must:
x
Loosen four screws
for about two turns.
x
Lift the guard so that it touches screw heads.
x
Turn the guard so that screw heads match holes in the
guard.
x
Remove the guard together with the mechanism for
turning the tool.
!
Do not loosen the screws
completely. You can
damage the threads in the tool’s gearbox when
driving them back.

Fit the flange

Fit the accessory (grinding, cutting disc, etc.),

Fit the flange nut

Lock the spindle with the button
,
-
Tighten the flange nut with the spanner
.
Remove the accessory in the reverse order.

The flange nut must not be overtightened.

Before using the machine, make sure that the
accessory fitted rotates freely.
x
Do not use special reducing sleeves or adapters for
fitting a grinding or a cutting disc on the tool.

The main handle
can be turned to the left or to the
right by 90° regarding the motor gearbox. This way you
can adjust the tool to the work you perform and to
available space.
