84 . Spotlight 150 User's Guide

Lay the assembly, crystal up, on a clean work surface. Remove the coned knurled collar

to expose the crystal holder.

Carefully grab the crystal holder and remove it from the ATR assembly. Set the crystal

holder aside and be careful not to damage the crystal.

Look down into the center of the crystal bearing, notice the compression spring and the

plunger retracted and off to one side. Spray methanol into the bore and allow it to drain

from the assembly.
