ENERGY SAVER Mode
While the unit is running press the MODE button to select Energy Saver
(”SAVE”). When the set temperature is reached the compressor will shut off.
The fan will continue to run 3 minutes after the compressor shuts off. The unit
will not run for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the fan will run for 1 minute and
repeat the cycle. If the temperature changes the compressor will turn on until
the set temperature is reached.
SLEEP Function
The temperature setting will gradually increase to 1ºF above the original
set temperature for each of the first 2 hours. The unit will keep operating at
the same temperature for 6 hours, then switch to standby mode. To set
this function:
• Select the operating mode (COOL/HEAT).
• Press the SLEEP button; the unit will operate in the selected mode.
SETTING THE TIMER
The timer can be used to delay start up or shutdown times to avoid wasting electricity by optimizing
operating periods.
TIMER OFF Function
1. With the unit On, press the TIMER button. The is displayed below T-OFF to indicate that it is active and H will blink
on the display.
2. Set the time you want the unit to switch off using the +/– buttons within 5 seconds.
• You can select 30 minute intervals from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
3. Press the TIMER button again to confirm the setting. The TIMER light on the control panel will be activated.
• At the end of the set time, the appliance switches Off automatically.
• To cancel the TIMER setting, press the TIMER button again at any point during the set time.
TIMER ON Function
1. With the unit on, set operating mode, temperature and fan speed before setting Timer On function.
2. Press ON/OFF button to switch into STANDBY.
3. Press the TIMER button twice; the T-ON icon will be active.
4. Set the time you want the unit to switch off using the +/– buttons within 5 seconds.
• You can select 30 minute intervals from 30 minutes to 24 hours.
5. Press the TIMER button again to confirm the setting. The timer icon will be active.
• At the end of the set time the unit switches On automatically.
• To cancel the TIMER setting, press the TIMER button again at any point during the set time.
CHILD LOCK FUNCTION
Pressing the “+” and “–” buttons simultaneously turns the child lock function On or Off. When child lock function is
started, the LOCK indicator on the remote control is On. If you operate the remote control, the remote control won’t send
a signal.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY SWITCHOVER FUNCTION
Under Off status, press the “–” button and “MODE” button simultaneously to switch between °C and °F.
