Signal lamps
Safety light grids from the SLP series with option L are ready for attaching signal lamps
that show the status of the safety equipment. The following color assignments are com-
monly used:
OSSD OFF
red
OSSD ON
green
Operational readiness
yellow
Muting
white
An SLP receiver with option L is suitable for up to three signal lamps, the active column
SLP8-2-A-L for four signal lamps.
The connection is made to the terminal compartment on the device (See Chapter 3.9)
5.1 Mounting
1. Turn the bayonet ring in the direction of the arrow (markings A and B must line up)
2. Attach the lamp module (markings A, B, and C must line up)
3. Turn the bayonet ring in the direction of the arrow (ring must engage)
Removal is performed in reverse order. Press down the bulb and turn counterclockwise to
remove from the bayonet holder. When mounting several lamps, observe the sequence
of the lamp modules.
5.2 Technical data
Light grids in the SLP series with option L correspond to basic devices in terms of their
technical properties without this option. The light grids in the SLP series are operated on
safety control units in the SafeBox SB4 series. Refer to the corresponding operating in-
structions for further details.
