Using the grinder attachment
The grinder attachment N is suitable for:

Grinding coffee beans, nuts, herbs or similar ingredients.
DANGER!
Handle the knife unit with care. The blades are very sharp.

The grinder attachment must not be filled with ingredients that are hotter than 80 °C.
NOTES:

Do not chop any hard ingredients such as nutmeg, candy sugar or ice cubes.
●
●
Never let the grinder attachment run for more than 30 seconds per operation without inter-
ruption.
●
●
Do not use the grinder attachment to process liquids such as fruit juice.
●
●
Cloves, star anise and anise seed must always be ground together. If you grind these ingredi-
ents separately, they may affect the plastic parts.
●
●
The cup of the grinder attachment may change colour when grinding ingredients such as
cloves, anise and cinnamon.
1. Add the ingredients into the cup of the grinder attachment and make sure you do not exceed
the max. filling height.
2. Place the knife unit into the cup of the grinder attachment and fix it by turning it clockwise
until it locks in place with an audible click.
3. Place the grinder attachment on the motor block and fix it by turning it clockwise until
it locks in place with an audible click.
4. Connect the mains plug to the wall socket.
5. Referring to the table on page 29, check the preparation time, the maximum quantity and the
speed setting. Turn the on/off switch S to the desired speed setting.
6. After use, turn the speed control to
0
and disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
7. Remove the grinder attachment from the motor block by turning it counter-clockwise.
8. Remove the knife unit from the cup of the grinder attachment by turning it counter-
clockwise.
NOTE:
When processing beef, make sure you do not use more than 100 g of cooled beef cubes.
Chop the meat cubes for 5 seconds in position
