05. Operation
WARNING!
Do not operate the shaver if the shaving foil is damaged.
Irrespective of the charging state of the battery, you are always
able to use the shaver connected to the mains power.
1. In order to use the shaver connected to the mains power, ensure
that the shaver is switched off.
2. Connect the wall power supply to the shaver.
3. Insert the wall power supply into an easily accessible power
point. The LED plug symbol (

) lights white.
4. Take off the protective cap.
5. Use the on / off switch

) to switch on the shaver. The battery
symbol (6) flashes alternately red and green.

NOTES:
• The shaver is suited for dry as well as wet shaves (Wet & Dry).
ATTENTION! The shaver is not waterproof. For wet shaves, the
device must be used in cordless mode. Never use the shaver in
the shower or in the bathtub.
• During initial use, you may experience temporary redness or irri-
tation of the skin, since the skin must first get used to this type of
shaving. This is normal and usually lasts between 2 and 4 weeks.
• Remove the protective cap.

battery symbol (

) lights green when the shaver has enough
capacity. You should charge the shaver if the LED battery symbol

) lights red.
• Hold the shaver at a right angle to the surface of the skin
and move it carefully and in circular motion over your face
(see fig.

).
• At parts of the face that are harder to shave, such as the chin,
stretch the skin for a better result (see fig.

).
• Shave against the direction of beard growth.
• After shaving, switch off the shaver and clean the cutting elements
carefully (

Using the Switch Lock
This function prevents the shaver from being accidentally switched
on during transport. In order to activate/deactivate, press the small
button in the center of the On / Off switch

). Then, push the switch
to ON, up in the direction of the blade head.
Trimming Long Hair
Use the hair trimmer (

) on the rear of the shaver to shorten beard and
sideburns.
1. Take off the protective cap.
2. Side the switch for the long hair trimmer (

) upwards.
3. Use the on / off switch

4. After use, switch off the shaver and fold the long hair trimmer
back to its original position. Clean the appliance after each use
