04. Charging
CAUTION! Risk of material damage
Please note that the battery capacity will decrease during
extended periods of storage.
For this reason, long recharging times should be avoided because of
the interruption between the charging and discharging cycles.
NOTES:
• Do not charge the battery at extremely low or extremely high
temperatures. The ideal ambient temperature ranges from
+5 °C to +35 °C.
• Allow the appliance to charge for at least 120 minutes before first
use (cordless).
• With regular use it will take 120 minutes to fully charge the battery.
• Observe the LED battery symbol (

). The LED battery symbol switch-
es from green to red when the battery is weak. It goes out when the
battery is empty.
1. Connect the plug to the female connector (

) located on the
underside of the shaver.
2. Connect the AC adapter to an easily accessible socket.
The LED plug symbol (

) lights white.
3. Place the shaver on a dry and even surface.
4. The LED battery symbol (6) lights red and only switches to green
when the battery is fully charged.
5. The operating time with fully charged batteries is at least
60 minutes.
6. This shaver is equipped with a quick-charge function. It takes
approx. 5 minutes and lasts for one shave.
7. If your shaver stops during shaving due to its battery being insuf-
ficiently charged, you can continue shaving by connecting it to a
power point.
