Bright flashes can cause temporary vision problems. Never look directly
into the light source during operation. Bright flashing lights can trigger
seizures in people who suffer from photosensitive epilepsy.
Non-observance of the following instructions puts property
at risk of damage.
Only operate the appliance with the approved types of batteries.
Avoid the appliance coming into contact with moisture.
If the equipment will not be used for a long time, remove the batteries.
The transmitter can be placed on a horizontal surface or mounted on a
wall or ceiling.
Position the transmitter such that the movements to be detected will be
across the detector lens (see Fig. C and D). Movement directly towards
the lens will not be detected quickly.
In order to detect movement within a room, remove the lens cap [3] from
the lens [2] (see Fig. C) by rotating it until the lugs [23] are visible in the
openings [22] to the left and right of the lens and then pulling it out.
In order to detect movement through a doorway (curtain effect
detection) rotate the lens cap [3] until the opening in is vertical (see Fig.
D).
Position the transmitter such that within the detection area of the lens
there is no heat source such as a radiator or ventilator! Heat from such
objects can be registered by the detector as movement from a heat
emitting body.
Connect the receiver to a mains socket in within the reception range of
the transmitter. The range outdoors is approx. 50 m. The range is
reduced by walls and ceilings (especially those made of reinforced
concrete). Do not place the transmitter and receiver on or in the vicinity
of metal surfaces as these shield the radio signal.
Test the reliable functioning of the appliance in the desired location
before installing it permanently. Note: Background interference and
atmospheric conditions which affect the reception range can change over
time.

Press on the arrow marking on the battery compartment cover [13] and
press this downwards (in the direction of the arrow).
Remove the accessory pack from the battery compartment [10].
If the transmitter is to be fixed permanently then:
prise both sides of the support [5] outwards and then remove this
from the housing.
Hold the support on the desired position and mark the screw hole [6]
positions with a pencil.
On masonry, drill 5mm holes at the marked positions and insert the
wall plugs [15]. If the support is to be mounted on a wooden surface
then the drilling and wall plugs are not necessary.
Fix the support using the two screws [14].
Press the transmitter back into the support.
Connect the DC plug of a 9 V DC mains adapter to the mains adapter
socket [9] and / or place 4x AA size batteries into the battery
compartment [10]. Observe the correct polarity: the negative pole (-) of
each battery must connect to a spring contact [11].
Replace the battery compartment cover.
In addition to or as alternative to detection through the PIR movement
detector an external device with potential free normally open (NO) or
normally closed (NC) contacts can be connected. In this case connect the
plug of the EXT connection cable [16] into the EXT socket [8] and
connect the contacts of the device to the cable ends. For example reed
contacts, bell pushes and pressure mats can be connected.
Place the receiver [18] into a suitable 230 V 50 Hz mains outlet. The LED
[19] will light green.
Select the desired transmitter mode using the switch [7]:

EXT connection activated
After a warm up period of up to 40 seconds the transmitter is activated.
After each detection the LED [4] lights green.
