Pre-Alarm video is recorded - this means that in each motion detection
recording the triggering motion appears a few seconds into the video.
Audio can be recorded only in Full screen mode (only one camera is
activated - see Camera Setup [54] “Camera On”)
The capacity status of the SD card is shown on the screen [33]. When the
card is full a message "storage full" will appear on the screen, no more
recordings can be made. In this case replace the SD card or reformat the
card to delete the recordings ("Format Storage" - see chapter 12 : [59]).
The recorded video can be viewed on the monitor and also through a PC
using an SD card reader and a suitable player, eg. Quicktime.

The Device ID must be entered in the App on the smartphone /tablet, this
can be found on the label under the monitor stand [6] and also in the menu
under "Network Setup [58] / Network Information" (remove the monitor
temporarily from the docking station).
The switching between cameras and the speed of the video will be slower
(depending on the quality of internet connection).
As with all tablets / smartphones, considerable costs can arise from
internet connection. A suitable flat rate contract is recommended.
The free App "OMGuard"
can be downloaded from the App or Play
Store onto your tablet or smartphone (iPad/iPhone from iOS 5, Android
smartphone / tablet from v2.3x).
Open the App.
Enter the DID and the current Security Code.
Connect the device with the monitor (ensure that the monitor is placed in
the docking station).
Tap on the camera picture to open a new window.
Tap on "Camera 1" to switch between the camera chanels.
Tap on the camera symbol to store a still shot of the camera on your
device.

The wireless range is dependent on many factors. In an ideal location and by
free line of sight (between both antennas) a range of up to 150 m is possible,
within buildings this is reduced to maybe 20 m.
The range cannot be guaranteed as it is dependent on the local conditions.
A reduction of the range will be caused by:
Walls and Floors, in particular those of metal or with metal reinforcement
Coated windows (eg. those with Insulating glass), radiators, mirrors and
other metal surfaces
Electrical cables and electrical products (eg. Those containing electrical
motors, microwave ovens)
Devices using the same or similar frequency eg. WLAN-systems)
If the camera is mounted for example on an outside wall, it is possible to
improve the wireless reception by locating the antenne at a distance from the
camera, for example on the inside of the wall. An antenne extension cable is
available as optional accessory (see chapter 17).
The products are maintenance-free: do not open the housings
