Conversion Instructions
1. Disconnect power to the heater at the
circuit breaker and turn off the pump.
2. Close the manual gas supply valve to the
heater.
3. Remove the gas-side service panel from
the heater by unfastening the Phillips-head
screws around the panel (see
Figure 1
). Set
the screws and panel aside.
4. Turn the Gas Control Valve (GCV) TOGGLE
SWITCH to the OFF position.
5. Disconnect and discard the two plastic tubes
connecting the air flow switch and
GCV to the air orifice.
6. Using an adjustable wrench, unfasten
the union nut from the top of the GCV
to disconnect the valve from the upper
gas piping. See
Figure 2
.
7. Remove the old gas orifice from inside
the top of the GCV and discard (see
Figure 2
).
8. Using a T20 driver, remove four Burner
Screws securing burner to gas engine
flange. See
Figure 4
.
9. Slide air manifold/blower assembly
forwards and rotate to access burner.
10. Remove and discard burner.
11. Install new burner.
Note:
Ensure alignment tab is facing upwards
on burner before reassembly. See
Figure 3
.
12. Disconnect spark harness from gas engine.
13. Using a T20 driver, remove two Spark
Electrode Screws. See
Figure 4
.
14. Remove and discard old spark electrode.
15. Install new electrode and
secure with two Spark
Electrode Screws. See
Figure 4
.
16. Rotate air manifold back
into place and reinstall four
Burner Screws to secure.

17. Install the o-ring provided
in this kit onto the new gas
orifice.
