6.  Remove snap ring with snap ring pliers. Pry off upper seal 

bellows and ceramic seat.

7.  If no water has entered motor housing (check winding with 

ohmmeter or megger) wipe seal chambers thoroughly and 
replace seals. Clean seal faces and use light oil on face 
before installing bellows part of seal.

8.  Check HUVA cup seal in volute case inlet. If worn, replace.

9.   Be sure tetraseal gasket is in position (replace if worn) and 

reassemble.

10.   Replace oil in motor housing and seal chamber. Use only 

Hydromatic submersible oil.

11.  Be sure pump turns freely before connecting to power. After 

connecting, check for proper rotation.
