CYCLONE MAX

3.9.1

SWD Mode Selection

The Cyclone MAX supports SWD Mode. This replaces the JTAG connection
with a clock and single bi-directional data pin. SWD Mode provides all the
normal JTAG debug and test functionality, plus real-time access to system
memory, without halting the processor or requiring any target-resident code.
SWD Mode is selected from the “Communication Mode” drop-down box in the
Cyclone Image Creation Utility:
