3.3 Extra characteristics electronic fl ame failure device
If your gas hob comes with an electronic fl ame failure device, you can use the following
features:
Re-ignition
If the fl ame goes out during cooking, the device will automatically attempt to restart the
fl ame.
If no fl ame is detected within 10 seconds of the attempt to re-ignite the burner, the gas
supply to the burner will be cut off.
Cooking time limiter
If a burner has been on for an unusually long time (approximately 6 hours), it will be turned
off automatically.
