Hydraulic feed selection operation
The hydraulic feed selector is used to control the
speed of feeding the blade and lock the arm in a
vertical position. To increase the feed speed, turn
the knob (1, Fig.4) counterclockwise. To reduce the
feed speed, turn the knob (1) clockwise. To turn off
the hydraulic fluid flow, turn the handle as in Figure
4. To turn the hydraulic cylinder, lift the lever (2) in
position.
Before use
1. Check that the direction of the gear matches
the diagram on the saw body.
2. Check that the blade is properly seated on the
wheels after the appropriate tension.
3. Place the blade guide bearings neatly against
the blade. See ”Adjusting the Bearing Guide
Bearings” for more details.
4. Check for gaps between the backing rollers and
the back of the blade.
5. Place both blade guides as close to the
workpiece as possible.
6. Select the correct speed and feed speed for the
material to be cut.
7. Materials to be cut must be held securely in the
vice.
8. Check that the coolant level is sufficient.
9. Do not start cutting on a sharp edge. File it
down first.
10. Keep the machine lubricated. See the
”lubrication” chapter.
Change the blade speed
1. Disconnect the machine from the power
source.
2. Loosen the locking bolt (1, Fig.5).
3. Loosen the sliding bolt (2) against the motor
plate until the belt can be moved on the pulleys.
4. Move the belt to the desired pulley.
5. Tighten the sliding bolt (2) on the motor plate
to the tensioning belt.
6. Tighten the engine locking bolt (1).
7. Connect the machine to the power source.
