1. When the product is plugged
in, the LED indicators do not
light.
Check whether your mains socket has power; check whether
the product is plugged in correctly. Unplug the product and
wait a few seconds, then plug it in again. Push the button on the
control unit.
2. After plugging the product in,
the control unit fails to set at
the default level (level 0).
The control unit may have found an error at the start and
blocks the product operation for safety. Check if any of the
LED indicators has any special flashing.
Unplug the product from the mains, wait a few seconds and
plug it in again. If the problem persists, take the product to an
authorized service centre.
3. The product does not
warm up.
Make sure the product is operating by checking whether a LED
indicator of the control unit is lit. Remember that the safety
AUTO-OFF function may have switched the product off if the
safety time period is over. If all the LED indicators are off, push
the button to switch the product on. In case of any doubt, reset
the product by unplugging it from the mains and plugging it in
after a few seconds.
Remember that quick checks carried out with the product
uncovered are not reliable. Try to cover the product with a
blanket or a towel and wait at least 30 minutes. If you still do
not perceive heat, take the product to an authorized service
centre.
4. The product warms up
insufficiently.
If, with the control unit set at the maximum level, you still
perceive that the heat emitted by the product is insufficient, try
the following: for heating pads, remove the cloth cover from
the pad and the clothes from the part of the body to which the
pad is intended to be applied and then apply the pad directly on
the skin, covering its other side with a towel. This will increase
heat transmission, as well as avoid the dissipation of some of
the heat.
In the case of heating underblankets, cover it with a blanket.
5. After a period of proper
functioning, the pad’s control
unit sets automatically at the
lowest level (level 1).
This must not be considered a fault or malfunction. As it was
stated in SAFETY ELEMENTS paragraph, your heating pad is
provided with an automatic high temperature timer function, to
avoid eventual skin burns.
Push the button if you want to set the temperature at a higher
level.
6. After a period of proper
functioning, the product stops
warming and all the LED
indicators go off.
In order to ensure safety in use, all our products are provided
with a safety AUTO-OFF option which switches the product off
after a certain number of hours of continuous operation if the
temperature button has not been pushed during this time. The
periods are 2 hours for heating pads and 12 hours for heating
underblankets. See SAFETY ELEMENTS paragraph for details.
If you want to turn on the product, just push the button on the
controller.
7. The control unit appears
to malfunction; the LED
indicators flash continuously.
The control unit may have found a problem and blocks the
product operation for safety. Unplug the product from the
mains, wait a few seconds and plug it in again. If the problem
persists, take the product to an authorized service centre.
