Group 0+ mode:
the safety belts are correctly
positioned if the child’s shoulders are just above the
strap holes of the safety belts.

far above or below the child’s shoulders.

positioned if the child’s shoulders are just below the
strap holes of the safety belts.

29• IMPORTANT: The Viaggio 0+1 Switchable car seat
can be reclined in 5 different positions only when it is
used as a Group 1 seat.
To recline the seat, press the lever under the seat (fig.
A) and pull it towards you to the desired position (fig.
B).
How to remove the lining
To remove the lining of the Viaggio 0+1 Switchable
child seat:
• Remove the head hugger, where present (point 20).
• Unfasten the safety straps (point 13).
• Open the rear cover.
30• Unfasten the straps from the rear support.
31• Release, from the back, the safety harness straps and
pull them away from the front;
32• release, from the back, the shoulder pads and pull
them away from the safety harness from the front;
33• unthread the strap through the slot (fig. C) and then
remove the head rest cover from the top (fig. D);
34• Below the frame, unfasten the leg divider (fig. E) and
remove the strap from the fabric leg divider (fig. F).
35• Slip the strap out through the slit in the fabric and
remove the lining, as shown in the figure.

17• Fasten the harness by overlapping the two straps and
inserting the buckles into the leg divider strap until
they click into place.
18• The child is sitting correctly with the safety harness
fastened properly.
19• To complete installation, check the safety belts are
not too loose by pulling the central adjusting belt as
shown in the picture. Make sure the safety belts are not
too tight.
IMPORTANT: the belts should be loose enough
for your finger to fit between the belt and the
child's chest.
20• To slacken the safety belts, push the button in the
middle of the child seat and pull the belts towards you
at the same time.
IMPORTANT: hold the safety belts under the
shoulder pads and pull, as shown in the picture.
21• The car seat has a booster cushion that must be used
only for very young children. Remove it when the child
is older.
• To remove the booster cushion, unfasten the safety
belts, remove them from the booster and remove the
leg-rest through the slot in the booster.
IMPORTANT: the booster cushion must be
removed when the Viaggio 0+1 Switchable is used
as a Group 1 car seat.
How to adjust the height of the head
rest
The head rest must be adjusted to match the child’s
height. There are 7 positions.
22• To change from a lower position to a higher one:
pull the strap in the upper central part of the headrest
upwards. The headrest will move at the same time.
To change from a higher position to a lower one:
pull the strap in the upper central part of the headrest
upwards and, at the same time, push the headrest
down to the desired position.
When you have finished, try moving the headrest
to check it is properly attached.
