ADJUSTMENTS AFTER ASSEMBLY
Cockpit
• Adjust all of the components on the handlebar so they are easy
to reach. Position the brake levers so that they are inline with
your arms and can be pulled without excessive effort. The shift
levers and Comfort Control Panel should be adjusted so they
are easily operated with your thumbs while keeping your hands
securely on the grips.
Drivetrain
• The Pedego Conveyor is equipped with a gear sensor that will
momentarily cut off the power to the motor allowing the next
gear to engage smoothly. Take care to shift while pedaling lightly,
shifting while under load can inhibit the internal gear hub from
shifting to the selected gear.
• Shift through all of the gears to make sure the internal gear hub is
adjusted properly. Change the shift lever setting into gear 4 and
inspect the cassette joint and pulley to ensure the yellow setting
lines are aligned. Adjust cable tension at the shifter barrel adjuster
if necessary.
