6.1.3 VIEW-Mode
Internally stored data can be recalled from any measurement mode by pressing the RIGHT/LEFT-
key. On USB stick or SD card stored data can’t be recalled by the device (see Section 6.1.2).
To access the stored data, proceed as follows:
To recall the internally stored data, press the RIGHT/LEFT-keys in normal measurement mode.
In the primary display, you see the stored measurement values and in the secondary display the
storage-number. By repeatedly pressing the LEFT/RIGHT-keys you can toggle through all
internally stored values.
Hold down the RIGHT/LEFT-keys, and you can speed up the switching between the stored
values.
In the View mode "VIEW" is displayed.
To return to normal measurement mode, press one of the measurement function keys.
7. Making Measurements
7.1. DC voltage measurements in the voltage range
Caution!
Do not exceed Maximum input voltage of 1000V DC. Otherwise you risk serious injuries or damage
to the internal circuits of the device.
Observe safety and security issues during voltage measurements in circuits above 35V DC
(Risk of injury from electric shock).
Switch on the DC voltage measurement function by pressing the V-key.
The unit is in “Auto” mode for automatic range selection.
If you wish to manually select the measurement range, press the RANGE-key.
For safety reasons start from the highest range and switch to a lower range if needed.
Connect the red test lead to the V /
Ω / -II-/Hz input socket and the black test lead to COM - input
of the device.
Connect the test leads to the voltage source and read the measuring value from the LCD display.
When measuring a negative value, a minus symbol (-) is displayed left of the reading.
Note:
Input resistance in all measuring ranges: 10M
Ω
The V-Range can measure up to 1000V. Exceeding is displayed with the overload indication
"OL".
7.2. AC voltage measurements in the voltage range
Caution!
Do not exceed Maximum input voltage of 1000V DC. Otherwise you risk serious injuries or damage
to the internal circuits of the device.
Observe safety and security issues during voltage measurements in circuits above 35V DC
(Risk of injury from electric shock).
Switch on the AC voltage measurement function by pressing the Shift-key and then the V-key.
The unit is in “Auto” mode for automatic range selection.
If you wish to manually select the measurement range, press the RANGE-key.
For safety reasons start from the highest range and switch to a lower range if needed.
