FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Q. We do not offer rental television in our hospital. How do I set up the
television for only one service level with all TV channels available?
A. Program the “Free” service level for all available channels.
1) Press the “SETUP” button on the remote control. The
“SETUP MODE” screen will appear.
2) Use the “VOL ▲ ” or “VOL ▼ “ button to change the Service
Level to “Free”.
3) Use the “CH ▲ ” or “CH ▼ ” button to select “Self Rent”.
Press “VOL ▼ ” or “VOL ▲ ” to set “Disabled”. This will
prevent the rental message from appearing if the
FEATURE button is pressed.
4) Use the “CH ▲ ” or “CH ▼ ” button to select “Channel Setup”.
Press “VOL ▼ ” or “VOL ▲ ” to enter the “Channel Setup”
sub-menu.
5) Select the correct “Signal” type.
6) Select “Autoprogram”. In the Autoprogram menu select the
“Free” Service Level to auto program.

7) Press “Vol ▼ ” or “Vol ▲ ” to begin the autoprogram
sequence. A “Confirm Autoprogram Start” menu will now
appear. To continue press “CH
▲ ” to begin
autoprogramming. Press “CH ▼ ” to exit.
HINT: Once you have programmed the “Free” service
level, copy this service level to both the “Basic” and
“Premium” levels as well. If an attendant mistakenly
enables a different service level other than “Free”, the
same channels will still be viewable.
Q. Our hospital offers maternity and other educational services to
select areas of the hospital. How do I program for these channels
only?
A. The PERSONA 10 offers three distinct service levels: Free, Basic,
and Premium. Program the maternity or educational channels into
the Premium service level. Televisions placed into those locations
that require maternity or educational services would simply have
their service level set to “Premium”.
Q. Our hospital has a “Welcome Channel”. How do I program the TV
to start on the “Welcome Channel” every time it is turned ON?
A. The PERSONA 10 offers a “Power On Channel” setting for each
service level. Use the “Power On Channel – Speaker” menu and
set the Power On Channel to the hospital Welcome channel
number.
