The Setup Menu allows you to set up the TV’s internal operations.
Diagnostics
This is a display menu that provides readout of the TV
’s internal
operations and version numbers.
Description of the diagnostics parameters:
Model:
Model of television (EX. PDI-E24LEDA)
Firmware version:
The version that is running on the television
(Example: 2.08)
Boot version:
The version that is running on the television
(Example: 2.3)
Power On Cause:
•
Cold: First time the television is turned on.
•
CPU: Restart from firmware update or changes to the
“Pro:Idiom” setting.
•
WatchDog: Forced restart power on by boot controller.
If Standby Power is set to low, additional power on reasons may be displayed:
•
Remote: Power on with the IR remote.
•
Front: Button on the right side of the screen.
•
Comm: Power on through CCI or MTI.
Pro:Idiom diagnostic codes:
•
OK: Pro:Idiom channel is tuned and decoding properly.
•
Missing ID: Session ID missing - decryption disabled.
•
Invalid key: Invalid or corrupted key set.
•
Stream Errors: No encrypted stream present or checksum errors in stream.
•
Non Pro:Iiom Ch: TV is tuned to a non-Pro:Idiom channel.
•
Disabled: Pro:Idiom chip is disabled because TV is not set to
“Free to Guest” and MTI is not connected.
•
Not Supported: Pro:Idiom chip is not present on this television.
CCI/MTI/SmartPort diagnostic codes:
•
CCI Connected: CCI port is connected to a host.
•
MTI Connected: MTI/Smartport is in MTI mode and port is connected to a host.
•
SmartPort Connected: MTI/SmartPort is in SmartPort mode and port is connected to a host.
•
Disconnected: CCI and MTI/SmartPort are enabled but are not connected to a host.
•
Disabled: CCI and MTI/SmartPort ports are disabled because Pro:Idiom is set to
“Free to Guest”.
