Group
When several test samples need to be measured, the samples can be divided into groups between 01 and 99.
5.2.3
Tolerance
In the Tolerance menu, the upper and lower limits for good/not good measurement can be set up.
The upper limit value must be higher than the lower limit and both limit values cannot exceed 110 % of the rated
capacity.
5.2.4
Test Mode
You can select three types of test mode: Track, Peak and Auto Peak. During measurement, the test mode can be
changed by means of the PEAK/▼ key.
5.2.5 Peak Time
When Auto Peak mode is activated, you can set the time intervals during which peak values will be captured - called
Peak Time. The default setting for the Auto Peak Time is 5 s. You can choose from a range of 1 Q 99 seconds.
5.2.6 Alarm
You can turn on / off the sound of the tolerance alarm.
5.3
Memory
In this menu, you can set the memory mode, browse through the data in the memory or delete them.
5.3.1
Storage Mode
There are two storage modes to be selected: Single and Series.
Single:
The current displayed value can be saved by pressing SEND/EXIT. This mode can be used in all
three test modes.
Series:
Continuous storage mode, only works in Auto Peak mode. When a peak time interval is reached,
the peak value is saved without the need to press any key.
5.3.2
Browse data
There are two methods to browse through the data in the memory. You can either Browse all or Browse selected.
The highest number represents the most recent data. To use the Browse selected option, you have to select a range
of data first. You can turn pages by means of the ZERO/▲ and PEAK/▼ keys.
5.3.3
Delete data
There are two methods to delete data from the memory.
Delete selected: deletes all data in the selected range.
Delete all: deletes all saved data.
Before deleting the data, a warning window will pop up for further confirmation.
5.4
Printing
The force gauge can be connected to a printer via the MD8 interface to print reports. In the Printing menu, you can
select Print recent, Print selected or Print all.
5.4.1
Connect printer
Connect the printer to the MD8 interface of the force gauge with a printing cable. Then turn on the power of the
printer.
5.4.2
Printing setup
Print recent:
Print some data measured recently.
Print selected:
Print data from a selected range.
Print all:
Print all data saved to the memory.
