C o n n e c t i n g t h e C a b l e s t o a 9 4 1 6 P r i n t e r

When using the keyboard with the Monarch® 9416® printer, the
keyboard receives power from the auxiliary power supply (5V).

Turn

OFF

the printer before you connect the keyboard’s cable.

Plug the 9-pin coiled keyboard cable into the end of the
adaptor cable.

Secure the other end of the adaptor cable to the 9-pin port on
the printer. Tighten the screws on the cables.

Connect the power cord to both power supplies.

Connect the power supply (24V) to the printer.

Connect the auxiliary power supply (5V) to the adaptor
cable’s power connector.
