Open a chain link.

Shorten chain to desired length.

Close the chain link.

Before use
1.
Prior to use, you should familiarize your-
self with the function of the chain hoist
and use it without load.
2.
Pay special attention to a secure fasten-
ing of the chain hoist, the mounting point
has to withstand the double nominal load
capacity. The installation must not be
carried out on mounting points with un-
verifiable capacity.
Caution!
The user is responsible for
a proper mounting point!

The chain hoist is not allowed to move
from its mounting point during use.

Test the brake for proper operation by
slightly lifting the load. Release the ten-
sion on the hand chain for a moment. If
the brake is able to hold the load, con-
tinue lifting.
Intended use
The chain hoist is intended for lifting and low-
ering loads manually in a vertical line.
The chain hoist is not intended for lifting,
carrying or for transportation of persons and
must not be used for this purpose! The chain
hoist is not intended for commercial use.
Any other use or modification to the chain
hoist is considered as improper use and could
cause considerable dangers.
