This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

This welding helmet is not suitable for laser welding or oxyacetylene welding.

The welding helmet must be protected from heat and moisture.

Do not open or remove the auto-darkening filter from the helmet.

Before operation, make sure that the Welding/Grinding selection switch is set to correct
position.

The cover glass must always be installed in place to protect the filter.

Do not make any modifications to the welding helmet or the filter.

If the filter does not darken when the arc is struck, stop welding immediately and contact
an authorized service center.

Do not use alcohol, gasoline or thinner to clean the filter. Do not immerse the filter in wa-
ter.

Operating temperature is -5°C … +55°C. If the ambient temperature is low, reaction time
of the filter will slow down but it does not affect the protective performance.

Replace the inner or outer cover glass immediately if scratched or otherwise damaged
since it may affect visibility and seriously reduce the protective performance.

Clean the filter, arc sensor and solar cell surfaces regularly. Make sure hard objects do
not contact the filter as this may damage it.

This welding helmet will not protect against impacts, explosive or corrosive liquids.
