Store the brush cutter out of reach of children. Keep other persons at a safe distance of
at least 15 METERS (50 FEET) from the work area.

Never leave the brush cutter unattended.Never use the brush cutter for any other
purposes than it is intended for in accordance with these Operating Instructions.Do not
overreach when working with the brush cutter. Always keep a proper footing and
balance when working with the brush cutter. Do not run the brush cutter when standing
on a ladder or in any other unstable position. Always use the provided harness in the
correct manner when working with the brush cutter.

Keep your hands and feet away from the string cutting head or cutting blade when the
brush cutter is in operation.Never use this type of machine for sweeping away
debris.Never use the brush cutter when you are tired, ill or under the influence of
medications, drugs or alcohol.Use only an undamaged string cutting head. If you hit a
stone or any other obstacle, stop the brush cutter and check the condition of the string
cutting head. Never use a damaged or unbalanced string cutting head.OBSERVE THE
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHANGING ACCESSORIES.

Do not store the brush cutter in enclosed areas where fuel vapours can come into
contact with open flames, e.g., from water heaters, furnaces, etc. Store the brush cutter
only in a well ventilated and locked room.
•
Ensure safe and proper operation of your brush cutter. The original parts are available
from your authorized dealer. Use of any other accessories or attachments can result in
a potential risk of injury to the operator or damage to the brush cutter, and void the
guarantee for this product.

Always clean the brush cutter completely, especially the fuel tank, its surrounding area
and the air filter.
•
Before refuelling the fuel tank, stop the engine and let it cool down. Never refuel the
brush cutter when the engine is running or if it is hot. If fuel is spilled, thoroughly clean
up and remove all the spilled fuel and properly dispose of the materials used for
cleaning before starting the engine. When restarting the brush cutter, move it at least
3 meters away from the area of the fuel spillage to avoid igniting fuel vapours.

Keep a distance of at least 15 meters/50 feet from other workers and bystanders.If you
need for any reason to approach the operator working with the brush cutter, carefully
attract their attention and make sure that they have stopped the engine. Be careful not
to startle or distract the operator’s attention, which could result in an unsafe
situation.Never touch the string cutting head or cutting blades when the engine is
running. If the protective guard or cutting attachment needs to be changed, always stop
the engine and make sure the cutting tool has stopped.When moving between working
areas, the engine must always be stopped.
