OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS
The
start
of the boiler is very simple as described in
the following short procedure
:
START
After completing the installation and carrying out all the checks needed and verifying the
correct installation, the power supply plug can be connected. The general connection
switch on the rear panel can be activated (the display will light up and, after a few seconds,
the time will be shown). Then, press the key
P2
from the control panel for some seconds
CHECK UP
After starting up the machine (manually, by pressing the switching on key for a few seconds,
or automatically, thanks to the built-in Chrono thermostat), the boiler operates automatically.
Firstly, a general “CHECK UP” is carried out and the combustion chamber is cleaned (the
extraction fan is activated). The message “Check Up” appears on the upper display, then the
next "IGNITION" phase takes place.
IGNITION PHASE
In this phase, the message "IGNITION" appears on the display and the ignition resistance, the
extraction fan and the fuel supply motor, which provides the right quantity of fuel to the brazier
for ignition, are activated. This phase lasts for some minutes, then the flame is lit. From this
moment on, 6/10 minutes can be needed for the ignition to be completed and to start the
following operation phase.
The "STABILISATION" phase follows the ignition phase. The flame is stabilised and
strengthened. After this, the stove starts the NORMAL operation.
Note
In particular conditions, the ignition phase could last longer (this is generally due to
excessively humid pellet, to an inappropriate flue or to a ignition resistance fault). If the boiler
does not turn on after the ignition time has passed, the system blocks. In this phase, the
extraction fan turns for three minutes.
After this time, it is necessary to open the stove door
and to empty the pellet basket. It will now be possible to turn on the machine again.
NORMAL OPERATION STATUS
After combustion has started, fumes warm up. When a fixed level is reached, the
STABILISATION phase ends and the "NORMAL" operation status is activated. The message
"NORMAL" is visualised on the display. The boiler is working at full power. The boiler has 3
power levels.
During the NORMAL operation, when water temperature increases and approaches the level
set for the boiler, the system starts reducing the operation power (when approaching the
temperature set for the boiler, the system passes from power 3 to lower power levels up to 1.
The quantity of fuel is smaller and smaller for each power level).
The NORMAL phase lasts until the following values of
1) smokes temperature,
