Safety notices for circular saw blades
Read before use!
1. General
The circular saw blade comply with standard DIN-EN 847-1. It
is a progression tool where cutting plates made from carbide
metal (HW or HC), stellite (ST) or polycrystalline diamond (DP)
applied to the saw blade core through material adhesion, in this
case through hard soldering.
Store circular saw blades in the original packaging or otherwise
protect the saw blade from damage. Store saw blades dry and
away from aggressive media. Injuries may occur when handling
circular saw blade due to the very sharp blades.
Only use circular saw blades in wood working equipments as
specified, for cutting, trimming, notching wood, derived timber
products and congeneric materials such as plastic, light metal
and non-ferrous metal, as well as composites as specified by the
manufacturer.
Tools must only be used by trained and experienced persons
familiar with how to handle tools.
2. Working safely
Use with manual and/or mechanical feed.
Use is only permitted in counter rotation, parallel feed is only per-
mitted with mechanical feed.
2.1 Maximum speed
Never exceed the maximum speed specified on the tool. Maintain
the speed range if specified.
2.2 Circular saw blades
Have a qualified person inspect the circular saw blade for defects
or damage prior to installation.
In the event of visible or otherwise detectable defects or damag-
es do not install the circular saw blade, respectively immediately
stop use and clearly mark the saw blade so it will no longer be
used. Circular saw blades with cracked core must be scrapped
(repair prohibited).
Do not use tools with visible cracks.
