Replacing the grindstone
Information
on replacement
• Ensure that the grindstone di-
mensions match those of the
device.
• Never use separate bushings or
adapters in order to make grind-
stones with a hole that is too
large fi t the device.
• Do not use any saw blades.
• Reassemble the device complete-
ly after replacing the grindstone.
• Replace the grindstone when it
is worn, damaged or broken, or
if grinding performance decrea-
ses or is irregular.
Switch off the device and
unplug the mains plug.
Allow the device to cool down.
When loosening and tighte-
ning the nuts (
9), the
grindstone (
8) must be held fi rm
by hand.

1. Unscrew the 4 screws (3) on the
cover (4).
2. Lift the cover (4) up and off.

3. Turn the nut (9) counter-clockwi-
se
using an open-end wrench
(27 mm) to loosen it.
4. Remove the nut (9) and the disc
(10).
5. Remove the grindstone (8).
6. Place a new grindstone (8) on
the mount (11).
7. Fix the new grindstone (8) in the
reverse order with the disc (10)
and nut (9).
The fl at side of the grinds-
tone (8) must be in contact
with the mount (11).
Tighten the nut (9) in the clock-
wise direction .
The spring (12) must be in the
position indicated in Fig.
.
If the grindstone (8) is not in the
correct position, the cover (4)
cannot be closed
