Before removing the piston sleeve assembly
(03), double check the timing marks of the
housing ring gear (1.4) in relation to the
piston sleeve assembly.
2.
Using a rubber or plastic hammer and
mandrel, gently tap the piston sleeve
assembly (03) to disengage the O.D. gear
teeth from the housing ring gear teeth inside
the housing bore.
To avoid damage to gear
teeth and housing bore:
Carefully support the weight of
the piston as it clears the housing.
