Magnetic gear heads have self-priming capabilities when they are new. The ability to self-prime is dependent 
on the fluid being pumped, your operating system conditions, and the pump model being used, and how long 
the pump has been in service. If the pump self-priming capability of the magnetic gear pump heads in use has 
diminished or stopped due to wear, flooding the head will get the fluid moving again as this capability is 
greatly increased when the gears are wet.
