according to EN 50178. For permanent 
earthing, EN 50178 states that: 

A cross-section conductor of at least 
10mm² is required. This can be achieved 
either by using a single conductor (PE) 
or by laying a second conductor though 
separate terminals (PE2 where provided) 
and electrically in parallel. 

Conductors must be sized in 
accordance with Local Wiring 
Regulations which always take 
precedence. 

As a guide, refer to the Input Current for 
the drive given in the Electrical Ratings 
tables.
