The PARI PEP S system cannot be used with:
– the PARI LC SPRINT XLent nebuliser (treatment for the up-
per airways)
– a PARI baby mask
2.6 Material information

2.7 Description of function
The PARI PEP S system enables effective combination of PEP
(
P ositive E xpiratory P ressure) and inhalation treatment.
Treatment with the PARI PEP S system helps to increase lung
volume and expiratory pressure through the application of ad-
justable expiratory resistance. The lower respiratory tract is
also opened up during its application. This exercises the lungs
and mobilises secretion.
2.8 Operating life
Replace the PARI PEP S after one year at the latest, as
changes may occur in the material over time. This might impair
the effectiveness of the treatment.
