Ending an ATI Session
Use the Exit function key from any screen to terminate the session.
Procedure
To end a session with the asynchronous terminal interface:
1. Press Ctrl-a to go to the function keys.
2. Save changes if required. A confirmation message appears if you have made
but not saved changes to your configuration.
3. Tab to Exit (or type e or E) and press Enter. If you accessed the unit through
the management card, the Hotwire Chassis Card Selection menu appears.
Exiting From the DSLAM Session
You can manually log out of the system or, after five minutes of inactivity, the
system automatically logs out when the inactivity time-out option is enabled.
Procedure
To manually exit from the Hotwire DSLAM system:
1. Return to the Hotwire Chassis Main Menu by selecting Exit from either the
Hotwire – MCC menu or the Hotwire – DSL menu.
The Hotwire Card Selection menu appears.
2. Press Ctrl-z.
The Hotwire Chassis Main Menu appears.
3. From the Hotwire Chassis Main Menu, select Logout.
The system exits from the current login session on the Hotwire DSLAM.
