Local Console Access

Increasing the Number of End-User Systems
The Hotwire 6301/6302 IDSL Router can support differing numbers of end-user
systems depending on the functions that are enabled and traffic loading. Typical
configurations will provide support for up to 32, 64, or 256 hosts (end-user systems).
The number of end-user systems can be increased by either using subnets for static
addressing or using Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) for dynamically
assigning addresses. Increasing the number of PCs may require cabling changes.
