Reserving the IP Address or Binding the IP Address to a MAC
1. Bind the HD77s mac address to an IP address in the router DHCP range (this is called reserving an IP
address or binding an IP address). Bind the IP address through the router LAN properties.
Note:
As each router is different you may need to use the router user manual or search on-line for instructions
for your particular router.

2. Bind the HD77 Camera IP address:
a. Right click the HD77 camera.
b. Navigate to Communications
>
Settings .
The HD77 Settings window opens.

c. Select IP Static radio button.
d. Enter the IP address and port number identical to the IP address and port number in the router bind-
ing and port forwarding.
e. Select the icon.
The Locate IP Device on Network window opens.
