MACHINE SETUP FOR PRODUCING PLATES
•
Unlock cover with cover key and open machine cover. (The cover will “latch” into the open position.)
•
Insert plates for embossing in the loader on the right side of the machine.
•
NOTE: The plates must be arranged in the loader with the Easy Feed humps facing up.
ADJUSTING THE LOADING UNIT
Height Adjustment
:
Adjust both height adjustment bars by loosening knobs ½ turn according to the marker plate being
processed. Position bars against the back of the plate, allowing some clearance so plates do not bind
while feeding. Tighten knobs to lock in place.
Width Adjustment
:
Adjust width by loosening knobs ½ turn and positioning them according to the marker plate being
processed. Position them against the side of the plate, allowing some clearance so plates do not bind
while feeding. Tighten knobs to lock in place.
Gate Adjustment
:
Factory set to .014 ± .002”.
Marker Plate Hold Down Adjustment
Factory set to .015 ± .003”
