1.
Switch the unit on with the main switch (1).
2.
Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
3.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
Diode testing:
The forward voltage shows 400 to 700mV. The counter voltage
shows „OL”. Defective devices show a value about 0 mV or „OL” in both
polarities.
Audible continuity
If there is a resistor <30 Ω, you hear a beep. When the
circuit is open, the display shows "OL".
Capacity measurement
Attention!
Discharge the capacitors completely before performing the measurement.
1.
Switch the unit on with the main switch (1).
2.
To turn on the function, press the capacity measurement button (5).
3.
For capacitors with known polarity connect the red test lead with the
anode (+) and the black test lead with the cathode (-). Once the reading
stabilizes, read the value.
4.
To return to normal mode, press the capacity measurement button (5).
Non Contact Voltage tester (Alert-LIVE / NCV)
Note:
No other measurements are possible in NCV mode.
1.
To turn on the NCV function, press the Alert-LIVE key (4). The
Alert-LIVE symbol appears on the display.
2.
