Operating Instructions
Always switch OFF the device when it is not in use.
Be aware of the Safety Instructions (Chapter 3)
Please refer to the sketches on the first pages of this manual.
When the meter is switched on, it is in the auto ranging mode. The device
automatically detects the appropriate measuring range. Manual range
selection is not possible. (Exception: Capacity measurement)
Attention!
Be careful when working on voltages above 60V DC, 30V AC RMS or 42V
AC peak value. These tensions can be life-threatening!
Auto power off
If no further measurements are carried out, the device switches off
automatically after 3 minutes.
Bargraph
Bar graph has forty-one segments and is refreshed 10 times/sec.
The bar graph is not available at frequency, diode and capacity measuring.
Voltage measurement (DC, AC) / Frequency measurement
1.
Switch the unit on with the main switch (1).
2.
Touch the measuring points with the probe tips.
3.
Once the reading stabilizes, read the value.
DC:
If the polarity is reversed a "Minus sign" is displayed.
AC:
When measuring alternating voltage, the frequency is displayed in the
secondary display.
Resistance measurement, Diode testing, Audible continuity:
Attention!
Disconnect the power supply and unload all capacitors before you do the
measurement.
